Programs & Events

Operation DREAM North plans to establish the following programs in 2024. However, please see the photos below of our work in Oshkosh thus far.

Juneteenth BGOSH

Held annually, this full-day event brings the Oshkosh community together to share and celebrate Black culture. The event will bring people together through food, art, education, and entertainment.

DREAM North also honors Martin Luther King Day and Black History Month.

Go Forward to Work

For youth from 6th to 12th grade, Go Forward to Work will introduce the basics of work, employment, and self-sufficiency. The aim is to encourage the formation of career goals as well as commitment to academics and responsible citizenship. Programming will include job exposure, work experience, and mentorship.

Youth Development Program

For kindergarten through 12th grade, the Academic Year Program will be a space for youth to connect and be encouraged toward positive goals on Saturdays. In the summer, the program will plan recreational field trips, such as hiking, fishing, sports games, and other outdoor activities.
